SUMMARY:Full Day Landscape Painting Workshop - October FULLY BOOKED!!
DESCRIPTION:Full Day Landscape Painting Workshop – October\n‘Woodland Light’\n10-5pm \nStep into the beauty of an early autumn woodland and learn how to create a landscape filled with atmosphere\, depth and luminous light. \nInspired by the soft golden sunlight filtering through the trees\, this immersive full-day workshop will guide you through the process I use in my own landscape paintings. Working on a 45cm x 38cm board\, you’ll explore how to build a convincing woodland scene using layered acrylic techniques\, creating a sense of space\, light and natural movement throughout the composition. \nThroughout the day\, you’ll learn how to simplify complex woodland forms\, create depth through colour and tone\, and capture the magical shafts of light streaming through the trees. We’ll focus on balancing detail with expressive mark-making\, helping you develop a painting that feels both realistic and atmospheric. \nWith a maximum of five participants\, this workshop offers plenty of individual guidance in a relaxed and supportive studio environment. \nBy the end of the workshop\, you’ll have a well-developed landscape painting and a deeper understanding of how to create light-filled\, atmospheric countryside scenes using acrylics. Many paintings will be complete by the end of the day\, while others may continue to evolve afterwards — just as my own work often does. You’ll leave with the skills\, techniques and confidence to further refine and develop your painting at home if you choose. \nSuitable for beginners and more experienced painters alike\, this workshop offers a friendly and inspiring studio environment where you can develop new skills while creating your own atmospheric landscape to take home. \n\nPractical Information\nAs this is a larger-scale composition with several stages to complete\, we’ll be keeping the lunch break to 30 minutes to allow plenty of painting time throughout the day. \nPlease bring your own lunch and any snacks you may wish to have during the workshop. Light refreshments\, including tea\, coffee\, and biscuits\, will be provided. \nWe’ll be working on a 42cm x 36cm MDF board\, allowing us to explore a more ambitious composition while still developing the key elements of the painting within the studio day. \nPractical Information\nAs this is a larger-scale composition with several stages to complete\, we’ll be keeping the lunch break to 30 minutes to allow plenty of painting time throughout the day. \nPlease bring your own lunch and any snacks you may wish to have during the workshop.
