DESCRIPTION:To book your place\, click here to visit the booking page:\nFull Day Landscape Painting Workshop – November\n‘Through the Autumn Haze’\n10-5pm \nStep into a quiet birch woodland where soft autumn light filters through the trees and golden leaves brighten the forest floor. The pale trunks and distant trees gradually disappear into the haze\, giving this landscape its sense of depth and stillness. \nDuring this full-day acrylic painting workshop\, I’ll guide you through building the scene in layers. We’ll explore how to soften the distant woodland\, give the birch trunks their distinctive character and add loose\, expressive foliage without painting every leaf. Warm touches of colour in the foreground will bring the composition together. \nWorking on a 42cm x 36cm board\, you’ll explore how to build a convincing woodland scene using layered acrylic techniques\, creating a sense of space\, light and natural movement throughout the composition. \nWith a maximum of five participants\, this workshop offers plenty of individual guidance in a relaxed and supportive studio environment. \nBy the end of the workshop\, you’ll have a well-developed landscape painting and a deeper understanding of how to create light-filled\, atmospheric countryside scenes using acrylics. Many paintings will be complete by the end of the day\, while others may continue to evolve afterwards — just as my own work often does. You’ll leave with the skills\, techniques and confidence to further refine and develop your painting at home if you choose. \nSuitable for beginners and more experienced painters alike\, this workshop offers a friendly and inspiring studio environment where you can develop new skills while creating your own atmospheric landscape to take home. \nBOOK HERE\n\nPractical Information\nAs this is a larger-scale composition with several stages to complete\, we’ll be keeping the lunch break to 30 minutes to allow plenty of painting time throughout the day. \nPlease bring your own lunch and any snacks you may wish to have during the workshop. Light refreshments\, including tea\, coffee\, and biscuits\, will be provided.
