SUMMARY:Afternoon Spring Landscape Workshop – Daffodil Woodland
DESCRIPTION:Step into the luminous beauty of a spring woodland in this extended Afternoon Seasonal Landscape Painting Workshop\, where we will capture the uplifting atmosphere of daffodils glowing beneath fresh green canopy light. \nInspired by the English countryside in early to mid-spring\, this composition celebrates nature as it bursts into life — golden daffodils scattered through soft grasses\, slender tree trunks creating natural rhythm and structure\, and warm sunlight filtering through branches to create depth\, movement and gentle contrast. \nWorking in acrylics on 3mm MDF board\, you’ll explore colour\, light and texture in a relaxed and supportive setting. Although this is a single afternoon session\, the workshop is thoughtfully structured to allow you to work in a focused and immersive way. To enable the work to be completed within one session\, the painting is created on a 26cm x 26cm mdf board — a beautifully responsive and durable surface that works perfectly with layered acrylic techniques and is ideal for framing\, which many participants choose to do after the session. \nYou will still experience the same seasonal inspiration\, layered techniques and organic landscape approach that underpin my four-week courses\, and as with all layered work\, you may wish to continue refining subtle details afterwards at home. \nHeld in a small\, supportive group with a maximum of 6 people\, there is plenty of opportunity for individual guidance and one-to-one tuition throughout. \nAll materials are provided\, including quality acrylic paints\, brushes and boards — simply arrive a few minutes before 1pm and enjoy a relaxed\, inspiring and creatively fulfilling afternoon. \nSuitable for all abilities\, including beginners — no technical experience required\, just a willingness to explore and enjoy the process. \nA calm\, friendly and inspiring painting experience — perfect for reconnecting with your creativity and enjoying the joy of landscape painting.

SUMMARY:'Meadow Alchemy' - 3½ Hour Painting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:An immersive and inspiring Morning Workshop packed with techniques drawn from my longer one-day painting workshops\n  \nProcess-led: paint rolling\, dripping & spattering with sculpted impasto flowers\n  \n‘Meadow Alchemy’ explores a process-led approach to creating a contemporary wildflower landscape using acrylics on board. \nWe’ll start by setting the scene and applying a soft gradient background. From there\, we’ll add movement and energy with loose layers of wild grasses and stems\, using different techniques such as paint rolling\, dripping\, and playful paint spattering. \nIn just 3½ hours\, you’ll learn the techniques and materials I use in my own work to create a richly textured floral painting of your own. Working with acrylics on board\, you’ll be guided step by step to produce a unique little masterpiece — a piece of art to take home and be proud of. \nYour painting will be created on a 3mm MDF board; a beautifully responsive and durable surface that works perfectly with layered acrylic techniques and is ideal for framing\, which many participants choose to do after the session. \nRun from the comfort of my Studio in Ditchling\, in a supportive and nurturing environment with an intimate group of up to six people\, allowing one to one tuition. \nSuitable for all artistic abilities\, even if you’re a complete novice\, the methods we’ll be using are easy to learn and apply.
