DESCRIPTION:To book your place\, click here to visit the booking page:\nNovember Seasonal Landscape Painting Course – Atmospheric waterside landscape with winter sky and reflections\nJoin me for November’s four-week Landscape Painting Course\, where we’ll create this beautiful atmospheric waterside landscape\, filled with reflections\, winter light and dramatic skies. \nWorking in acrylics on 45cm × 38cm MDF board\, you’ll be guided step by step through the process I use in my own paintings to build atmosphere\, depth and light. \nHeld over four consecutive weeks\, this course allows time to work thoughtfully\, building layers and refining your composition to create a beautifully light-filled spring landscape. By the end of the course\, you’ll have a substantial landscape painting and a deeper understanding of how to create light-filled\, atmospheric countryside scenes. As with my own work\, you may choose to continue refining and developing your painting at home using the techniques and knowledge gained during the course. \nThis course is suitable for both developing painters and those looking to build confidence in landscape painting. With a maximum of five participants\, you’ll benefit from plenty of individual guidance throughout. \nAll materials are provided\, including quality paints\, brushes and boards\, so you can simply arrive and enjoy the creative process. \nCourse days vary from month to month. During the winter months\, the same monthly course may be offered on an additional weekday morning\, giving you greater flexibility when choosing a course. Please refer to the individual course listing for the available days and dates. \nWhen booking\, you will need to select one of the available course days and attend on that same day for all four weeks. Ferns and grasses gather around a rocky path\, drawing the eye towards the light. \nTo enable you to complete the painting within the workshop\, we’ll be working on a 35cm x 30cm board\, allowing you to focus on the key techniques and processes needed to create a finished landscape in a single afternoon. \nBy the end of the workshop\, you’ll have a well-developed landscape painting and a deeper understanding of how to create light-filled\, atmospheric countryside scenes using acrylics. Many paintings will be complete by the end of the day\, while others may continue to evolve afterwards — just as my own work often does. You’ll leave with the skills\, techniques and confidence to further refine and develop your painting at home if you choose. \nSuitable for all abilities\, this small-group workshop\, with no more than 5 participants\, offers a relaxed and supportive environment with plenty of individual guidance throughout. \nAll materials are included\, along with tea\, coffee\, and light refreshments. SUMMARY:FULL DAY 'Abstract Forest' Painting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:To book your place\, click here to visit the booking page:\nJoin me for a fully immersive day of painting in the beautiful surroundings of Leonardslee Gardens\, Sussex.\nThese special full-day workshops are reserved exclusively for my guest venues and offer the opportunity to spend a whole day exploring my creative process in a relaxed and inspiring setting. Held in the studio within the gardens\, this workshop will show you how I create vibrant and atmospheric abstract forest paintings using acrylics\, colour and texture. \nWorking with acrylics on board\, we’ll build up layers of colour and texture to create depth and atmosphere. You’ll experiment with a variety of tools including silicone spatulas\, applicator bottles and rigger brushes as we gradually develop a richly layered woodland scene. No artistic ability is required\, and the trees themselves are surprisingly easy to paint. This is a fun and rewarding process\, with each layer adding more colour\, luminosity and atmosphere\, transforming the surface into a magical forest filled with light\, depth and wonder. \nWe’ll take a short break for lunch\, with a buffet-style lunch including sandwiches\, cream teas\, and hot and cold beverages all included in the price. All materials are provided too\, so there’s no need to bring a thing – just come along and enjoy a day of creativity. \nSuitable for complete beginners as well as those with more painting experience\, this workshop is designed to be relaxed\, enjoyable and inspiring. The pale trunks and distant trees gradually disappear into the haze\, giving this landscape its sense of depth and stillness. \nDuring this full-day acrylic painting workshop\, I’ll guide you through building the scene in layers. We’ll explore how to soften the distant woodland\, give the birch trunks their distinctive character and add loose\, expressive foliage without painting every leaf. Warm touches of colour in the foreground will bring the composition together. \nWorking on a 42cm x 36cm board\, you’ll explore how to build a convincing woodland scene using layered acrylic techniques\, creating a sense of space\, light and natural movement throughout the composition. \nWith a maximum of five participants\, this workshop offers plenty of individual guidance in a relaxed and supportive studio environment. \nBy the end of the workshop\, you’ll have a well-developed landscape painting and a deeper understanding of how to create light-filled\, atmospheric countryside scenes using acrylics.
