A 4.5-hour immersive landscape painting workshop.
In this guided workshop, I’ll show you the techniques I use in my own work as a professional artist, helping you to build a layered, expressive painting step by step.
Step into the quiet beauty of early spring in this uplifting Half Day Seasonal Landscape Painting Workshop, inspired by delicate cherry blossom trees glowing against the soft tones of the countryside.
In this composition, we’ll explore the graceful structure of blossom trees arranged in gentle perspective as they recede across the landscape, creating rhythm, depth and atmosphere. The contrast between the dark sculptural branches and the light, airy blossom creates a striking focal point, while the surrounding landscape is softened with layered colour and texture.
Although this is a single afternoon session, the workshop is thoughtfully structured to allow you to work in a focused and immersive way. To enable the painting to be completed within one session, it is created on a 29cm x 24cm 3mm MDF board — a beautifully responsive and durable surface that works perfectly with layered acrylic techniques and is ideal for framing, which many participants choose to do after the session.
You will still experience the same seasonal inspiration, layered techniques and organic landscape approach that underpin my four-week courses, and as with all layered work, you may wish to continue refining subtle details afterwards at home.
Held in a small, supportive group with a maximum of 6 people, there is plenty of opportunity for individual guidance and one-to-one tuition throughout.
ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED, including quality acrylic paints, brushes and boards — simply arrive a few minutes before 1pm and enjoy a relaxed, inspiring and creatively fulfilling afternoon.
Suitable for all abilities, including beginners — no technical experience required, just a willingness to explore and enjoy the process.

Payments & Cancellation
- Workshops are paid in full at the time of booking.
- Workshop payments are non-refundable if you cancel or do not attend, as preparation and materials are allocated for you.
As workshops are small and often fully booked, I’m unable to offer refunds or transfers for cancellations made within 10 days, unless the space can be filled.
- If I cancel a session for unforeseen reasons, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

- My studio is located on the first floor, accessible only by stairs.
- Customers with mobility needs must contact me before booking to ensure the workshop is suitable.
