Come and join me for a fun-filled day learning how to create a beautiful ‘Meadow Landscape’ painting, where I’ll share the methods and techniques I use in my work as a professional artist.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your own finished painting – a striking meadow composition layered with colour, light and shimmering metallic detail.
Your painting will be created on a 35cm x 35cm x 3mm MDF board; a beautifully responsive and durable surface that works perfectly with layered acrylic techniques and is ideal for framing, which many participants choose to do after the session.
Together, we’ll bring a sunlit meadow with a hedgerow and distant trees to life, using acrylics on board. You’ll explore easy, expressive brushwork and a variety of creative tools, including paint rollers, silicone spatulas, stencil brushes, sea sponges, metallic liner, and shimmering gold highlights.
Through layering and texture, you’ll discover how to capture depth and atmosphere while enjoying a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, you’ll leave with a finished painting full of light, colour, and movement.
A break for lunch will be taken, with afternoon tea, which includes scones with cream and jam, a selection of sandwiches and cake, and hot beverages.
