Full Afternoon Landscape Painting Workshop – November
A 5 hour immersive landscape painting workshop.
A quiet opening appears beyond the trees, framed by arching branches and leaves turning gold. Ferns and grasses gather around a rocky path, drawing the eye towards the light.
In this five-hour acrylic painting workshop, I’ll guide you through creating an atmospheric autumn landscape on a 35 × 30 cm board. We’ll build the woodland in layers, explore the contrast between the darker foreground and the pale clearing, and use expressive marks to suggest foliage and texture without painting every leaf.
To enable you to complete the painting within the workshop, we’ll be working on a 35.5cm x 30.5cm board, allowing you to focus on the key techniques and processes needed to create a finished landscape in a single afternoon.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a well-developed landscape painting and a deeper understanding of how to create light-filled, atmospheric countryside scenes using acrylics. Many paintings will be complete by the end of the day, while others may continue to evolve afterwards — just as my own work often does. You’ll leave with the skills, techniques and confidence to further refine and develop your painting at home if you choose.
Suitable for all abilities, this small-group workshop, with no more than 5 participants, offers a relaxed and supportive environment with plenty of individual guidance throughout.
All materials are included, along with tea, coffee, and light refreshments. As this is a continuous 5-hour session, there won’t be a formal lunch break, but you’re very welcome to bring sandwiches or snacks to eat during the workshop.

Payments & Cancellation
- Workshops are paid in full at the time of booking.
- Workshop payments are non-refundable if you cancel or do not attend, as preparation and materials are allocated for you.
As workshops are small and often fully booked, I’m unable to offer refunds or transfers for cancellations made within 10 days, unless the space can be filled.
- If I cancel a session for unforeseen reasons, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

- My studio is located on the first floor, accessible only by stairs.
- Customers with mobility needs must contact me before booking to ensure the workshop is suitable.
