Full Afternoon Landscape Painting Workshop – September

A 5 hour immersive landscape painting workshop.
Capture the warmth and atmosphere of an early autumn evening in this inspiring half-day landscape painting workshop.
Working from a beautiful countryside scene bathed in golden light, you’ll learn how to create a loose, atmospheric landscape using the expressive acrylic techniques I use in my own work. We’ll explore colour layering, depth, texture, soft transitions and the effects of light as it filters across the landscape.
This composition combines a winding meadow path, wild grasses, delicate late-summer flowers and a glowing sunset sky, making it the perfect subject for exploring light, mood and distance within a landscape.
To enable you to complete the painting within the workshop, we’ll be working on a 35.5cm x 30.5cm board, allowing you to focus on the key techniques and processes needed to create a finished landscape in a single afternoon.
Suitable for all abilities, this small-group workshop, with no more than 5 participants, offers a relaxed and supportive environment with plenty of individual guidance throughout.
All materials are included, along with tea, coffee, and light refreshments. As this is a continuous 4½-hour session, there won’t be a formal lunch break, but you’re very welcome to bring sandwiches or snacks to eat during the workshop.

Payments & Cancellation
- Workshops are paid in full at the time of booking.
- Workshop payments are non-refundable if you cancel or do not attend, as preparation and materials are allocated for you.
As workshops are small and often fully booked, I’m unable to offer refunds or transfers for cancellations made within 10 days, unless the space can be filled.
- If I cancel a session for unforeseen reasons, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
Accessibility Information
- My studio is located on the first floor, accessible only by stairs.
- Customers with mobility needs must contact me before booking to ensure the workshop is suitable.
- No refunds can be given if accessibility needs were not disclosed prior to booking.
