Unlike my more abstract Meadow Alchemy paintings, my Painterly Wildflower collection retains a greater sense of botanical form while remaining loose, painterly and full of movement. Built up through multiple transparent and opaque layers, the painting combines soft atmospheric washes with vibrant floral accents, creating depth, light and a sense of gentle spontaneity.
The warm golden background is interwoven with delicate stems, seedheads and wildflowers in fresh greens, soft blues, warm corals and creamy whites, evoking the feeling of a meadow glowing in late afternoon sunshine.
